Who am I?
I’ve always dabbled in art. I used to draw fashion designs and painted a large mural on my 4th grade classroom wall. (Yes, I was asked to do it.) High school brought me to oil paintings, and surrealistic graphite drawings. I studied Art and Biology in college intending to become a Biological Illustrator. Life took a different direction.
A few years ago, a chance encounter on Facebook led me to a pastel challenge that came just at the right time. By following tutorials from Jason Morgan Wildlife Artist and Photography, I discovered both a love for the medium and a style that truly felt like my own. I’d found my niche- working with pastels is something I genuinely enjoy and at which I excel.
I have recently placed in the top 100 artists in two Wild Heart Gallery International Art Competitions. I also have received an Honorable Mention in the Tera Verna International Art Competition earlier this year and an Honorable Mention in Tera Varna 14th Open 2026 International Art Competition. My work has also been accepted in a juried competition for the San Francisco Art Fair 2026.
If you’re like me, you understand the unique bond between people and their animals, and you want to preserve a moment that honors that connection. I’d be honored to be a part of that journey with you.
